Perhaps I could make an option for members to add a "Reduced" icon which would show up before the subject line. That would be better than edit a thread and adding the ugly "$RED$"....What you do think?

Ok, let me work on this. It should be a small icon but needs to have the word reduced on it...if any other ideas, let me know.

May I suggest maybe place it to the right so its not distracting away from the original description.
But anythings better than looking at people selling RED stuff all day.
Heres a possibility:
NOTE - THE REDUCED ICON IN THE BELOW POST IS FICTIONAL.

That looks good, but that will mean thread titles will be much shortened on the page view.
How about a simple Up or Down arrow to the left of the thread title to reflect increased or decreased pricing?
Like the idea. Will someone actually have to reduce a price in order to use this? What's to keep someone from using it on initial post just to keep up with the reducers? Does it matter?
Small icon to the left, hover text to document the meaning (e.g. "recent price reductions"). Also, hover text would be helpful to capture the first first several words of the FS thread (initial message).
Actually thinking this over, Ronny Mills's idea is actually the best. If we want to do this, let's do it right...
I will change the way the Posting and editing is done for the buy and sell boards. Instead of a "message" textarea, we could have a form for each item. More on this later...
