The whole of Fredmiranda.com keeps inserting/redirecting some Facebook script "junk" after initially opening just about any topic page on the site.

Once successfully reloaded/redirected, my navegable screen area becomes quite small and, of course, blanked out to the FM background grey.

I say "successfully" because to counteract the stuff, for example what looks like a query or something:

?fb_xd_fragment#?=&cb=f94502386425&relation=parent.parent&transport=fragment&type=resize&height=21&ackData[id]=2&width=150

gets appended to whatever address I am currently surfing, and so I immediately hit "stop" on my mobile browser because otherwise I'd be staring at a grey background in short order, as mentioned above.

Help!

From Facebook we only have the "like" button script. it seems to work with most browsers and OSs. What are you using?

I'm embarrassed to say it, but I'm a miniscule user group that can't even be picked up with tweezers:

Windows Mobile 6.5 and Opera 9.5 as the browser.

The initial address is clean, but within twenty seconds or so, the redirect inserts itself at the tail end of the address and then the party's over as Opera moves over to a blanked-out screen.

Did you try updating Opera? I use version 11 and don't have the issue you reported.

Fred, I hadn't thought of that. I downloaded Opera 10 for Windows mobile touchscreen phones, as version 10 seems to be the last/latest one available for my segment of the market.

It's a little early to tell as I haven't had time to use it much (I'm on a laptop right now) but I think the issue resolves itself as one moves to newer browsers.

Let me fooyay with Opera 10 a little bit more and if I hit run into some snags, I'll post here again. Unfortunately, my "zoom strip" doesn't work with the new browser so I have to zoom manually.

How one can patent "zoom pinching" is beyond me...
