Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the lens from the dental eye camera? I thought that the lens was proprietary and not changeable / removable.
Of course it is removable, your looking at the fitted case and can see the mount on the back of the lens. I have one in the back room we never use that we got from a dentist friend of ours.
Well shiver me timbers. I could have sworn at one point I read it was a non-removable lens. Is is a proprietary mount that can't be adapted to anything else? Maybe that's what I read?
From the Yashica FAQ by Cees de Groot, the Medical Macro 100/4 ML (aka Dental Eye) comes in both forms: permanently attached to an SLR, and detached. I've seen both on eBay with some regularity. The same optical formula is available in a bellows-only version.

I have one of such lens, it is great. The mount is standard C/Y I use the lens on my 5DMkII using a Big-Is adapter. Infinity focus cannot be allowed, in fact the repoduction scale is only between 1:1 and 1:15. On my lens the sync cable lacks, I will be thankful to whoever helps me to find one.
