Beautiful girl, beautiful job! I love the lighting.
Unusual crop with strong background element provided by the OOF framed work on the wall. But it lends a soothing balance and the OOF elements and colors work well.
Great eye contact, pose, smile.
Minor nits: darkened area L arm above the wrist, another close to the elbow. Are these natural? Bruises? Do you want to rework the lips slightly to close the smile along the right corner?
Now lets see what the portrait professionals say.

Opinion's are like a-holes; everyone's got one. That said, the huge deadspace has got to go. Did some brightening as well, but, my tastes will be different then others that will surely post their ideas.
Thanks everyone for the tips. Didnt do a lot on this photo just a little bit of contrast boost and tweaks to the wb. Will try to correct the issues pointed out thanks again.
I have to agree with Lyle, the space above her and the wall hanging are just simply distracting.. She is a beautiful little girl, put the focus back on her and not the background.
I like the tall crop. The main things I would do: Clean up small distractions in the background and foreground, add a bit of warm tone to the background, and make the light fall off toward the top to draw more attention to the subject. And sharpen face and hands.
