Please ignore this thread. After getting in touch with Kerry, he was extremely helpful in answering all the questions I had for him about specific details of the Feisol tripod and photo Clam ballhead combinations I was considering.
I placed my order with him and I'll have my new equipment in a couple days!
Yeah, I was planning on ordering from Freisol directly if I couldn't get ahold of him, but I was planning on also getting a Photclam ballhead. Is there anywhere else to get those?
The Photoclamps are the larger issue as they have no official US distributors other than a couple of guys with home businesses. I have one of the Photoclamps (44mm) and it is OK for the lightweight type, but not up to the level of my Arca-Swiss or RRS ball heads.
There does seem to be inconsistency in support from RBC. My dealings with Kerry were good but others haven't had the same experience. You might consider getting the legs directly from Feisol and getting a Markins ballhead instead of a PC.

So does this mean that Kerry is good at sales only? I returned my PhotoClam and Kerry was great about it but there was nothing in the package about repairs, and I don't recall seeing anything on the RBC web site either. If your ballhead broke do you know where to send it for service?

Good points and question. I would start with Kerry I suppose.
Sounds like he was just quite busy. I've been in touch with him over the last few days, and he's been a big help in my tripod purchase decision making.
Kerry at RBC was great at answering all my questions and helped me pick the right tripod and Photo Clam. He told me I test out the tripod and head beyond the 15 days return period.
Now I would like to return the Photo Clam ball head, since I opted for something else. I have sent him 2 emails and a phone call for the past few days, but he hasn't responded.
He quickly responded to all my emails regarding purchasing, but when it comes to returning any items he's very slow to reponse. Is this typical of Kerry at RBC ?
I hope that's not the case. I went back-and-forth with him yesterday i.e. he was pretty quick with his response. My guess is that he's a one-man-show, so obviously he has to deal with new orders first ... and returns afterwards.
Anyway I hope he gets back to you soon, as I would like to believe that their support and customer service is as good as their 3-year international warranty.
