Sweet set Tom. I'm sure the wife understands you being late with the IQ you have on these, definitely worth the detour. I'll pick #1, 4 and 5. Great job, you're getting me all psyched up for the hawk season in a few months.
Thanks Herb, she liked the shots......and her sandwhich

Wow Tom, you were not kdding about the great opportunity. Thanks for the good time today, even if the shooting was not up to snuff, I am sure I will get them. These images are exceptionally sharp nice tones. Bruce
Thank you my friend, I so regret the absence of the Kestrels during your visit We'll get em next time Bruce and I had a great time shooting.....er....talking with you about your adventures
The old saying of having your camera with you at all times, sure came true for you this time. What a wonderful series, just awesome!
Your first statement, "So I'm driving down the road past the wetland where the Kestrels have been hanging out to pick up lunch for my wife," Do you often use Kestrels to get lunch for your wife? Hymmmmm, she must like mice, moles, frogs, and snakes to snack on.................

So true Larry, I don't go anywhere without my gear
Thanks for the nod on the set my friend and I have no shot at grabbing any of the Kestrels snacks......they are waaaay too fast for this old man
Absolutely fantastic shots, worth a little risk. Good job of reacting to what you saw and being ready with the camera. How many people would have said what was that and kept driving? My favorites are 2 and 4.
Just don't push your luck too far, you can't get very good shots from the bumper of a moving semi.
