Down under we have our share of the worlds most venomous and quite a lot of them. Apart from the small scaled Taipan (aka Fierce Snake) most are very shy and will only strike when cornered or frightened. Majority of victims are guilty of serious stupidity. Poking them with sticks is one of the better ways to get bitten.
Doesnt detract from the quality of these pics though. great work
