Hi Folks! - - I just got a promotional email from Canon that gives a code to use to get an additional 15% off on select (not sure HOW select that is) Canon refurbished products. The code is JREQA90K, and is good through August 6.
I am not in the market for anything new, but I thought someone here on the board might appreciate the info.
Yeah same thing a couple of weeks back... Once we get past the 6th stuff will magically be available again. I keep missing out on the lens I want... At some point I will just buy the damn thing from B&H and pay the extra.
Canon seems to do always offer a discount with almost no available stock. Even before this promotion they hardly had any stock on lenses. 85mm with 15% is a great price if they had it in stock.
Doh! they had a 10-22 posted for a number of days..... checked after seeing this and they were sold out... guess i'll keep my eyes peeled til Aug 6th... 15% would be sweet.
Just talked to Canon, they said that the promo code only works for those who received the offer and no one else. Don't know how true that is but that is what they said. Rick
