Thanks Johann - I agree with your nitpicking and will work on this .
Carsten: Ah, Bernd & Hilla Becher - you mentioned them before, but I thought you referred to Lurkers images (he thought so, too). I didn't know these photographers, but after looking for images of them, I agree that at least the subject and the b/w is similar...
Good perspective in your last HDR, Carsten! I'm working on an image from this hall, too, but the results are still lacking something; at least I like your hdr-approach better at the moment.
Thanks very much, Johann! I have been a bit disappointed with my processing on some shots, and a bit disappointed with the number of good shots I feel I have brought home, but I am slowly beginning to figure out how to control Photomatix Pro, even if that doesn't make me like it any more. I might try Nik's HDR Efex. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Really like those last two HDRs of yours, Carsten - they are nicely balanced and work very well, especially the composition on the last one!
I spent forever getting the perfect processing, and then I touched something in the Photomatix Pro settings and lost everything. I think this time I made it too dark... Thanks though!
The brightness looks perfect to me and the HDR processing, too! I like this image the most from your great set. One minor suggestion I have is to straighten the verticals on the right a bit.

Markus, Carsten, outstanding work! Any of these recent pics is wall-hanging material IMHO. If I have to pick favorites, it is Markus' N° 14 & 16, and Carsten's two before last. Great work!
Thanks very much guys! I guess I will fiddle a tiny bit with the image again, and straighten that line; you are right it distracts a bit.
It is for these kinds of reasons I would like to move up from my D3, btw. When you start with 12MP, rotate a bit and do a small Distort change in Photoshop, all of the pixels have now been resampled, so the sharpness can suffer. With 24MP or 36MP I would have some in reserve.
