The Alexanderplatz Motel One has no rooms left, so, based on your advice, I booked at the Art'Otel Berlin Mitte, bei Park Plaza, which is 1km away from Alexander Platz. Thanks for the help!
Philippe, the Art'otel is ok, my wife said she stayed there a while ago. Alexanderplatz itself might not be the nicest plaza in the world but a lot of real live is going on around there. Gives a nice impression how East Berlin has been.
My comment: I wish you were a Nikon user! I would love to try the 35/1.4 and the 35-70/3.4. Ah well.
Who else is bringing what? I could either bring my Nikon D3 and some lenses (ZF21, ZF.2 50MP, ZF.2 100MP, Contax 80-200/4, Leica 180/2, as well as Nikkor 16/2.8 AF-D, Nikkor 35/2.8 AI-S, Nikkor 105/2.5 AI-S, Nikkor 70-300 VR, Nikkor 200/2 VR (I am selling, in case anyone wants to bring me lots of money ), Sigma 50/1.4), or my Leica M8 and some lenses (Leica 28/2, 35/1.4 ASPH I, 90AA), or perhaps the Hasselblad 203FE (50/2.8, 110/2, 250/4). I am open to suggestions, if someone wants to try something. If anyone has a Nikon-Canon adapter, then they could also try my Nikon lenses.
I don't want to carry more than 2-4 lenses, depending on which, so let me know, and I will try to accommodate.
Failing any other agreement, I propose that we still meet at the Literaturhaus, but given that Philippe will want to drop off some luggage at Alexanderplatz, this is no longer ideal, unless we go from the Literaturhaus to the hotel, and continue from there.
Carsten, if you have a C/Y to NIkon adapter for your 80-200, I don't see why you couldn't try my 35-70
Ii will be arriving agead of time for a 12h30 meeting, so I will be roaming the city (I want to "do" the Reichstag), so, as far as I am concerned, there is no objection to Literaturhaus.
I have a Leitax mount for my Contax 80-200/4. To my knowledge, a Contax-Nikon adapter is not possible. The 35-70/3.4 is apparently a son of a to Leitax, so I am hesitating on buying one. I am also not sure I want a zoom in that range.
Okay, let's stick to Literaturhaus then. I hope the weather turns out better than today, but to be safe: bring a rain jacket.
I would like to join you. Unfortunately, I am taking a democracy course that may end a bit later than 12:30 P.M. Would you please be so kind to leave your mobile or perhaps send it by PM. In case I can make it on time, please confirm the meeting point.
igmolinav, where does your course take place? We might have other opportunities to meet you along the way, depending on what time. You can send me an email via this site any time, I will be able to get and read them, and will make a point of checking.

Heinz, if you want, I can bring my C/Y to E-mount adapter, and then you can try my 35-70 on your NEX. It is a very interesting combo, including for close-ups.
