Thanks for the compliments Carsten. I will "retaliate" right away. You (and the other two) are really great guys, too. I greatly enjoyed your company. Yes, and we were lucky with the weather.
I have posted already a few pictures in the dedicated Olympus thread, which I have taken on Saturday morning on my way from Berlin Schöneberg to our meeting point at Gendarmenmarkt.
These are images I took of Gendarmenmarkt when I was waiting for Carsten.
(PP: very light use of unsharp mask, some shadow/light and perspective correction, cropping in some images, )
I'll have to skip this post, since I didn't actually take any shots at Gendarmenmarkt until the evening. Great shots though! The clarity of the 14-24G is special.
Good to hear that you had a nice time together. Rudi, I like the 6th and 8th. The reflexion in the window is very nice. The rendering of that Olympus 100/2.0 isn't bad either ;-)
A digital OM2 would be the ideal camera right now... this was my first SLR.
Very nice shots! Too bad the 35mm isn't a 30mm to let you get just a little more in that last shot.
Cyra, that's funny, both Rudi and I also started with the OM-2, an OM-2n in my case. You would have fit right in with that conversation I recently bought an OM-1, just to have such a camera again. I doubt I will use it much, but I like having it, and it wasn't expensive.
I agree Boris, there is a bit of green in the sky. Somehow I didn't find the solution yet. If you look at the ground, I wonder if I had a cloud halfway across my image, making it hard to white balance properly for all parts of the image.

Carsten, here is a quick (30 sec.) try of a different color balance of your image.
The sky looks better now, but there is still magenta-left/cyan-right problems, and the whole Berliner Dom now looks a little magenta. I am not sure if this problem is fixable with global operations...
Carsten, there was a reason why you included me in this image.
And there was a reason that I was wearing a neutral grey jeans.
I used it for setting the white balance right. I think it is looking better now.
