Vincent, just take your own SD card. I went to Istanbul, and could hardly use my NEX because "someone else" declared that "it was too good for me". I have this sinking feeling that it is going to happen again in Berlin. Hopefully, Sony ship their first 5N tomorrow, and I can get mine (the shop's only one) on Friday and bring it on Saturday. Otherwise, it will be the C3 with which I am having some serious fun.

I am geeting a 5N ASAP. If, later, the 7 outperforms it, I have a deal that the upgrade will cost me pretty much the same as having bought the 7 outright. That is what I get for supporting a local shop rather than shopping around.
Why would you lose your NEX in Berlin? This is quite a peaceful city, and you will be staying in a quiet area. There are of course no guarantees, but I find it highly unlikely that you will have problems.
Basically, considering that the meeting is supposed to be tomorrow, and that we have no place or time, it seems that cyra and I will be shooting NEX at Tegel airport around 12:00.

Are you shooting there because you would like to, or because you will be stranded there, pending decisions on where we meet?
I think airports are airports, not especially interesting in Berlin compared to Charles de Gaulle or other places, but if you like, we could meet there. Otherwise I would suggest something closer to your hotel, so that you can drop off your things in preparation for a nice walk-about. Perhaps Gendarmenmarkt, a bit north of your hotel, and a nice location? There are even good, if slightly pricy, cafes there, but then again, how much could a coffee cost?

I also would prefer Gendarmenmarkt (13:15 is okay). Since it is a big place and at noon time it can be really crowded we should specify a meeting place (maybe at the main entrance of Hilton Hotel ?). How about sending pm's with each others mobile number ?

The weather sounds like it will be great, so I will wear blue jeans and red sneakers Philippe and Vincent already know what I look like (in case Vincent can make it). I guess we need to connect to Cyra and Rudi. Bernhard might be able to make it, if he can change his plans, but I will arrange that separately, since we know each other. I could not reach Ignacio so far.
OK. The statue, between 13:00 and 13:15. In theory I am connecting with cyra at the airport, beczusea both our planes are schduled to come in at the same time, 12:00, and we will share a cab to my hotel, and from there to Gendarmenmarkt. I will very probably be coming form work, so expect a suit and tie.
