Just came across this website, which name caught my attention in Google search, and I couldn't believe what I saw. I understand the need to personalize the look of your mobile phone, but camera lenses?!? Seriously?
I don't know about these in particular but I think for some wildlife shooters, especially Canon users with the big white bazookas, it helps to cover them up with darker color or camo so they don't frighten away birds/animals.

Birds and animals get frighten of the photographer, not the lens If you leave the white lens alone on the ground or tripod. Every bird or animal will just walk up to it or even sit on it

"need"......since when does "need" entire into the equation?
that's like asking me if I "need" a 48 inch flatscreen tv, or a twin turbo v-10 Dodge Hemi pickup truck, or strawberry ice cream (after all, lots of people are allergic to strawberries, so shouldn't they be banned?).
I want one, it doesn't hurt you, so why should I NOT have it
really, do you NEED a camera with that type of lens?

Yes, but right when you go to move the lens, and a ray of light reflects off the white, it does spook wildlife. If the lens is stationary, yes the wildlife gets accustomed to it, but who shoots wildlife without moving their lens?
I have a camo lenscoat on my 500mm. A Prothontary Warbler flew INSIDE the hood! They are cavity nesters and was probably prospecting for a new home. I mostly like it for bump resistance. (I'm clumsy) Pete Dunne put out a book titled 'Good Birders Don't Wear White'.
Now I have to go find a new flatscreen...
