Huh? I must have missed them all. The only one I can think of is the high-end Thinkpad line, and although they are at least as strong, they don't feel as nice.
To me, the contrast and possibly even exposure difference in the above comparison makes it impossible to draw any real comparative conclusions regarding IQ.

i think you must have spent too much time looking at cheap consumer pcs. there are a number of higher end specialty brands and top of the line laptops with comparable or better build quality and materials (often no taste though). as far as feel goes, that has more to do with thoughtful design and aesthetics, which is where other pcs are lacking. i should note that some times apple takes this too far and sacrifices physical strength or temperature control.
