Vipermike - This was pretty early in the morning so the light was pretty dark allowing the 55 second shot. I'm not technical, but it seems with an exposure this long, and the light as low as it was, the movement of walking into and out of the scene isn't caught when moving quickly. Thanks for looking!
The affect works well for this shot. I did something like this once with a bond fire stepping in then stepping out quickly had a couple sitting in chairs next to the fire gave the shot a ghostly affect.
I like shots that make me think.
