Ya Mark, I hope not to dark. It was hard to make this shot at all pleasant to the eye. Maybe good for an anti-smoking campaign but that's about it. Thanks buddy.
No, I don't think too dark. It's the kind of photo that stirs some emotion so that's all good even though the viewers' thoughts might not be happy ones. I want to make my photos more compelling in those ways.
Thank you Norm, Good to see you too my friend. I think I will be shooting for awhile this time around. I can only go so long before I start missing you guys I am also looking forward to ordering a new lens here real soon. I miss my 28-75 2.8 for the studio but I have been able to get most shots done with my 50mm and I may add a 35mm and 85mm into the studio mix down the road but I'm pretty set on getting the Nikon 18-200 VR II for some overall camera fun. Hey at least it will get me outside more.
Hey thanks guys!!! So good to see all of you. I like the interpretation and execution but I don't like that it is an ugly image. I attempted softer lighting and it still looked ugly. Thanks again, I always appreciate your thoughts on my shots. Good, bad or indifferent.
