Pants, very nice! Was the flare in the first shot deliberate?
There is a huge spotlight within that frame that I cannot avoid, so decided to include it. The inclusion is deliberate. The resultant anamorphic flare is accidental.

Obik: these are straight-up Sci-fi awesome! Quite the setup you use, reversing a 24mm TSE?!?!? Never heard that dome before!
I'm not really impressed with the reversed TSE--but I'm just starting out using it, and still haven't figured out the optimal aperture/focus distance/focus step size for reversed work. My shots to date have been softer than I expected and show a disappointing amount of chromatic aberration. In all, I prefer the reversed 28mm in spite of the magnification disadvantage, but that may change as I gain experience with the 24mm.
this first one i'm not entirely happy with, need to process better to get rid of posterization. considering it is ~50 shots handheld at marginal shutter speeds wide open at iso 3200, it came out better than expected. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6229/6358746619_c6c4853d22_o.jpg
this second one i'm extremely happy with, i thought for sure the scenes dynamic range would exceed what i could pull from the shadows, but no problems. it really loses a lot at this web size compared to expected print size. ~50 shots again but at f/5.6: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6228/6358747857_4d11f83f74_o.jpg
