Oh wow, wow, wow! There are so many great images, I don't know where to start or finish. What a great trip and experience you had. Documented so well I feel like I can now save myself ~$10K and just look at your shots!!
seriously beautiful work, birds, mammals and landscapes! You set a high bar for those other guys that assisted you on this trip!
Congrats Conrad!!
Thank you very much Mike! I'm sure the other guys have some killer shots they will eventually share. You gotta go!

Nice work man. It's posts like these that make me wish (on your behalf as well as mine) that there were an easy way to convert forum posts into blog format - you obviously put a lot of work into the post and most forums (including FM I believe) auto-prune after some time.
I still like to look at my own travel/photo journals from 10 years ago - we should figure out a way to save this in a more permanent format.
HEY STEVE! You finally posted! Yes we have to figure out a more permanent way to save these... Post your shots man! And Happy Birthday again bro!

Fantastic shots Conrad. I love those lightning shots. What I find kind of humorous how all the shots with animals in them have them facing straight ahead or to the left. You must be the animal whisperer to be able to get those animals to all face the left. =)

Conrad, very entertaining post. You certainly got to see a lot of wildlife. The Cheetah is my favourite. Your Tawny Eagle is an immature Bateleur eagle, I think.
Thank you very much and I'll make the ID correction ASAP!
great set - Now - no more messages for a while. I'm in Europe until the 8th of June visiting family. Presently in Gotland - largest island off the Swedish coast. I only brought the 70-300VR & it's a joke as a birding lens with skittish birds. I'm frustrated as I've seen birds I haven't seen ever or not in a very long time. But I've gotten a few.....
Glad you got to do this. It's been my dream since childhood.....
Lil
Thanks Lil! Ok no more messages! Have a great trip in Europe and I hope you are out there shooting as well!
