MHP (mile high photographers) got together, for a fun styled shoot workshop. My wife is on the board of the organization, so went to help and have fun for the day. Thought I would share a few. Stephanie Osborne and Rick taught the ring portion and did a great job.
Nice the first few very much remind me of the Jose villa style.
Just slight thing to watch composition cutting out things like bottom of bike and side of flowers on tattoed flower shot. Also flowers on the pumpkin shot. Flower pot as well- have it in or out of the photo.
Bottom of the hand in last shot.
Bottom of chair in one before last.
A really nice set. There's something about the mood and light in these images that really works. A soft, evening glow about them all. The shot of the first bride, leaning back next to the water tower is a particular favourite.
Thing is there are a lot of other photographers shooting in this style and I always thought you guys had a style which was a wee bit more unique than this.
I know you said this was for fun so maybe it was nice to try out someone elses look.
Thanks for looking them over and critiquing them. Can't take credit for the processing since they were shot with film. Lots of film stuff to show coming up we shot it for most of our wedding season last year. These were shot last september hence the pumpkin.
