Was that shot at f/2.8?

Krosavcheg, I NEED that lens. Awesome colors on that flower, DOF etc speaks for itself.

Wayne, looks like 'something leftover from '68, Nice shot!

Zhang, nice 50P shots, #1 is lovely (both shot and girl)

Today we had rain. CY 28-85 on streetart and then a wet tree with 50P (Canon 5D2)

Frank, imho the 35/1.4 should be reason to disqualify people from photography because it makes it too easy to create amazing images.
And I do agree - you should get it asap!!
I just processed a bunch from my recent Yokohama walkabout and I am seriously amazed at the LOD and colour rendition even on 5DC....
I post some soon...

Mind you, your 28-85 shot is beautiful!

CY35/1.4 on 5DC in Yokohama China Town - a great place for a lot of street candids, but not as good for eating...:/ (personal opinion)

Wilhelm -- I really like the crispness of the street art shot with the CY 28-85. You are really building a nice collection of lenses.

Dergiman -- Great color!

Cheers guys!
The Zeiss colour rendition is appealing indeed. That little dragon always throws me, because it looks oversharpened around the edges. In fact, it's the mold of the actual figure that is a culprit..

Thanks guys for generous comments.

Nice ones again Kros, colors of the second are awesome.

And while on the subject of sharpening, I might add that my second shot above is (hopefully) not oversharpened, the tree is wet and the reflections from the quite intense light gave it a special effect.

Nice one Carsten -very natural. Would you mind post a mid exposure so we see what light you covered?

And are these some clothes and tools hanging in a ceiling, what exactly are we looking at?

He did take an image of such baskets, they are very common in old German factories. Funny, I remember watching a video where he is walking around in such a place, but I do not recall what the final image looks like. I imagine it is epic, with a huge view of the place, possibly extended in Photoshop.

Let me find a link...

around 4:10 he examines the location.

Found Gursky's photo:

I love his stuff. I wish I could have had more baskets on my shot, and a better defined edge on the right, but this was part of a museum, and the only filled a few baskets with sample clothes.
