Also for some reason peeps on Tumblr like it, no idea why. I guess Im missing something. I mean, its just ZOO pic of lizzard? Never get why some pics are taken as good and some not.

I can see that. I took it out on a hike yesterday and used f/2 quite a bit, more so than I'd feel comfortable doing with any of my other lenses. It's a little harder to focus than my G 28mm with the adapter, but I should have expected that.
I'm also looking forward to some autumn colors - the coolers nights we've had recently has me aching to go backpacking in early October. Nothing beats the beautiful colors and lack of mosquitoes.
Usually I have 3-4 lenses in my bag. Interestingly, the Zeiss C/Y 100mm f3.5 is more often than I expected one of them. It's the lens for occasions when I expect to shot wide angle, but want to have a short and light tele just in case.
