I had to share this in the Zeiss thread. I recently went to an automotive musuem locally and they had a gallery that was under construction. I snuck in (as I was the only person in the entire museum) and took some pictures of the future setup. This piece of amazing art happened to be featured. Anyone want to guess when this was produced?
Ghostbusters II - The movie that brought my wife and I together. Got the playing cards as a gift for Christmas this year. (Focus point is the 2 fingers)

Some tests of 24-70 from last summer. A850 with this lens+polarizer gives so much saturation that I had to turn it down in Apple Aperture & Lightroom. Boke is quite good quality at f/4, as well as the DOF part of the image. I have shoot >90% of my photos with this lens @ f/4, zoom makes FOV versatile, but allows less options on DOF...almost always too much of it.
Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 2.8/24-70 ZA @ f/4, 1/30-1/40s, A850 @ ISO 100, Zeiss polarizer

Very intense colours! How do you find sharpness and micro-contrast with the A850?
thanks Ronny and Kokusai,
Paul, interesting shot, I'd like to see more with the 25/2, haven't figured out it's character yet, there are so few images with it.
Not a great picture but a shot with Sony A7r plus Contax N Zeiss 70-200 at 200. This is the in in-camera jpeg. Had to shrink to half size and 80% quality to get it to upload. I guess if I put it directly here you'll be scrolling for evermore so here is the link:
Some absolutely fabulous photos on the few preceding pages! Haven't posted here in quite awhile, but I do follow the thread still. Just recently picked up a C/Y 28 2.8 on the Bay for a pretty ridiculous price, considering it has already been Leitaxed! Was looking to get a Leica R 28, but I can't afford the Ver ll, and I hear the Ver l is just so so! So I found this one Contax instead! I think this blows away the ZE 28 I had...WOW
Thanks for looking,
Gregg
