Thanks for the info. It didn't look HDR at all but I had to ask
Here is a question for you all:
How is the performance of the C/Y 50/1.4 Planar wide open and what is the main difference between it and the newer ZF/ZE versions?
I haven't tried the Contax version, but own the ZF.2. The Contax is meant to be a bit sharper wide open and close up, which is exactly the weakness of the ZF.2 version. However, the ZF.2 has just a gorgeous look to it, starting wide open at a few metres, and stopped down, it is amazingly sharp.
Ronny.... That last tree shot has a great 3D effect to it! Carsten.... love those last 2 shots of the stairs and the window/mattress. Where were those taken?
They were taken on the go2know.de Beelitz Männersanatorium tour this past weekend. The Beelitz Heilstätten were built in the late 1800s in response to the tuberculosis epidemic which ravaged Germany and many other countries. There are many individual clinics, which is the reason for the plural noun. At the time they were built, they were not only the largest, but also the best in the world, but were abandoned very suddenly, and have since provided lots of opportunities for urbex photographers. A few years ago, the go2know guys managed to get permission to lead photo tours through the facilities, which is when I got interested. I really don't want to jump fences and then have to look over my shoulders constantly while trying to photograph at the same time.

Although the EXIF is incorrect, the lense used is a Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 with the Fuji XE1.
Perfect timing. There was a fire about a quarter mile away, darkened the clouds and the setting sun illuminated the underside of the smokey clouds. The shot lasted for maybe a minute before the smoke rolled through the park and we had to leave.
