I created this thread specifically for posting a mix of Zeiss lens photos, not just non-ZE/ZF/ZM lenses. I own both Contax and ZF.2 lenses, and found it awkward/undesirable to have to split my photos from a single outing into two threads. If someone owns *only* ZE/ZF lenses, then they could choose whichever thread they prefer, of course.
I have to say that although I am not a big flower lover (in photos; in real life I love them), I love the processing and use of DoF in your series, Ronny.
Here are a few with my ZE 35 f/1.4 taken of my new son who was born just over a week ago. I love how this lens performs in poor light as these were mostly taken with dim light at the hospital.
Hranner - Amazing shot. Beautiful color and composition. You also raise the great question. When do you 'make' composition, and when do you make the composition 'work' for your shot.
To get everyone in the mood for the new APO 135/2, here are some from the other day with my adapted ZA 135/1.8 on my 1ds3 at near wide open. Such a fun lens to shoot, love its smooth bokeh and great sharpness wide open.
hiepphotog: haha.. Great shot :-) nice tone in the second one :-)
edwardkaraa: Great colors in your picture :-)
wayne seltzer: Really nice bokeh and picture your last one.. like it :-)
Akul: great streets shot :-)
akul, really like to see your CY28 in use! Love your lighting and composition work.
Edward I say it again, there's something special in the detailing here. And possibly coloring too. Some would be your PP skill of course. But some ought to come from the GXR.
Ronny, it's been said over and over again, but I too like you flowers. Especially the white one on prev page. And now a dog too.
Rödluvan, yes even though these are twin lenses I saw some mutter once posting a CY85 image "over there".
