Again, your greens are dark and muted, but I don't know if that is what foliage looks like where you are. This is why I suggest something more universal, like a colour chart, or even a can of 7-Up.
This Pic showed almost the reality and colors are included.
Yes, I see this is the real "serious" color disoriented syndrom and it can push someone go crazy, and I see not only Carstenw suffered. But that's not big deal for me, I lived 7 years in Europe and know when and what tree species have leaf's color changing.
If this is your real main cause. May I give you a hand to cure this "color" syndrom?.
Forget about toy-like 7-Up bright green can, think seriously about deadly olive dyed khaki jacket and pant, that american infantry soldiers wore in Vietnam War and this well researched color alone might already save many lives.
Akul, I can see a clear difference in colors with the CY. I always preferred the neutral/bluish tendency of Contax versus the warm/yellowish tendency of the Z*. unfortunately my ZM fall in the latter category.
Regarding the greens, of course this has always been a matter of concern for me since I live in Thailand. I can say that nice greens are not impossible under the right conditions. I found I get better colors when there is no haze (very rare or up close), just after rain, and generally in the cool season (December to February). Normally it is impossible to get blue skies as well. The normal sky color is bluish grey similar to Contas shot. I think this hazy sky affects all colors not only greens. Again the only season where we occasionally get blue skies is in the cool season. But even then, we never have the same skies as in Europe for instance. You guys live in the photographers paradise, I envy you!
This is a web image I borrowed for example of different green color shades.
This man wears VN War field combat jacket, dyed the same color of tropical jungle green to camouflage from VC and the surrounding scene is bright green foliage of temperate zone of North America .
225 rally cars drove pass a dirt road outside our summer house yesterday. Road was obviously closed so we couldn't get anywhere. So why not take some pictures :-)
Luckily, an hour later the co-driver came back. Here he is, iPhoning some information with the wreck visible in the background. He thought he may have had a broken finger. Believe it or not, the car came from left ending up like that (note that it is b e h i n d two trees) IMG_0040 1280 by Wilhelm Frank - Stockholm, on Flickr
All family members could not concentrate on the rally for extended period of time. Luckily the blueberries have arrived on masse IMG_9987 1280 by Wilhelm Frank - Stockholm, on Flickr
