Sunday card game - Camara de Lobos. (It was this traditional fishing village that inspired the late Sir Winston Churchill to paint its lovely surroundings.)
Just figured I can't keep on lurking, watching great images and soaking knowledge without posting some of my own stuff. Lots of great, inspiring images in this thread!
Just picked this one up about a week ago. It takes a while to get the settings right, at least for indoor shooting without a flash. I've just decided to set it to ISO 400, but let auto ISO go up to 1600 to keep a minimum shutter speed of 1/60. I don't know what I'll do once I go outside, but here is a photo of our 18 month old this morning.
i posted a gallery of my first vacation with the x100. i had some mixed results, but several great shots. putting a nice lens on a 5d is certainly easier, but that thing is so heavy!
