Great photos and discussion. I was there a couple of weeks ago and noticed a rather large flat rock moving on the racetrack, which kind of cancels out the wind theory in my opinion. I'll see if I can find a photo of it and post it.
Actually it is aliens. They move the rocks when it is wet, and mount cameras on the surrounding mountains and laugh at us when we look quizzically at the stones with these black gadgets around our neck and these long 3 legged things we cart around with them.
