Can this be adapted, or converted for EOS mount?
5DMkII in particular.

Since the lens is Nikon mount, adapters to Canon are easily available.

I am guessing that it won't be very sharp and may have lots of aberrations. It could still be interesting to try, but at the over $1000 I am guessing it will fetch (maybe even closer to $1500-2000), it would definitely be a novelty item. Maybe a cinematographer will buy it

If anyone on FM forums does buy the lens, please remember that you are required by the immutable laws of the internet to post some pictures from it here.

If anyone does, they certainly will!

Although, if the lens is no good, they might not, at least until after selling it again...

That's only because you didn't type a large enough number into that little field. Try again

This website says it was originally designed to cover 6x6 (on the Norita 66 probably?). I would like to see what the DOF would look like using it wide open on a 6x6 camera, if only for curiosity's sake.

DOF would be the same on any format.

Yes, if you use the same lens and publish the images at sizes corresponding to each format, i.e. different sizes.
You know very well what he meant. It would give a DOF and angle of view like a ~74/0.77 on 24x36.

Can I mount the A850 on my Nikon D3?

In the end it went for an incredible $2879!

Another one just sold at 1,125 euro on eBay

Noritar 135/1.4

Mysteriously not a single photo taken with this lens I found on the internet.
Is it because the lens is not good at wide open or the owner only use it for video or nightshot/astronomy or else?

No, all the absolutly best images are made with such a lens - but the photographers won´t share the only reson why these images are such good ;-)
