Chad and I had some better light today for a few hours and seen a few different birds to test the cameras out on. I feel it's acting better than my mark3 had at tracking birds in flight but a few more times out I will be more certain. C&C welcome, Thanks, Ron
Just beautiful shots Ron with some great light - just look at those tail feathers in #12 and the subject isolation in #5 is really spectacular. I only have a few more days to wait for my MkIV and it can't come soon enough.
I'm glad for people like you Ron, I couldn't afford to get one of these and find out they don't perform. Now that I see they seem to perform quite nicely I can add it to my 2010 dream list Please keep us informed as of your opinion on overall satisfaction.
#6 is awesome, love that shot. I am impressed on how it found contrast to focus on the dirty white swans and the clean ones too, that says something for the tracking ability to me! I think yours is working better than Chads so far
This camera is sure performing well in your hands Ron,..... and in Chad's too I hasten to add not wanting to stir anything up
I was thinking of getting a secondhand MkIII but now......love that # 6
