Hi,

I am trying to learn more about landscape photography, and I had the opportunity to go to the Grand Canyon area during my spring break a few weeks ago. Here is the album:

I would love to hear your comments, especially critiques on how I should improve my images. I realize my more "successful" wide-angle pictures have that 3 segment composition (foreground, middleground, and background), but are there more techniques for capturing good landscapes? Also, are there ways that I could improve on my technical presentation of the images? i.e. more contrast/more saturation/more sharpness needed, border-framing, etc?

Most people here prefer if you link a photo or 2 for them to see without having to go somewhere else and load a whole gallery. I liked a number of your images a lot - those around sunset were the best. I'm sure they look great printed out as well.

Nutek:

Really loved your Grand Canyon Collection. Shots 5745, 5746, 5747, 5760
and 5761 were my favorites. The last shot reminded me of a scene from the "TEN
COMMANDMENTS" movie. Looks like the paws of lions guarding the gates to the city. Earlier shots DID remind me of an amphithearter.
