p.1 #1 · Post your 7D shot (Who actually uses their 7D?)
I would love to see what folks have been doing with their 7Ds as I'm growing weary of the reviews of the reviews of 7D tests and reasons why 7Ds won't make images as nice as digital back-equipped medium format cameras. Not that these discussions aren't interesting or valuable (pardon my flippant remarks--it's really meant in good humor!), much of it is simply far beyond my comprehension or concern. In the last couple of years I've actually shot more film than digital but with the 7D I've gotten back into digital photography with both feet and with more excitement than ever. That said, I always feel that I have a lot to learn with digital photography and with the 7D I have even more to learn in order to get the most out of it. I find that exciting though. Anyway, I can't exactly ask others to show their 7D shots without showing a couple myself so here are a few to get things started...yes, they need a lot of work, but it was just plain fun taking pictures with my 7D and I promise that future posts will be of a much higher standard. Thanks for looking and participating!

I shot with a friend's 7D for only about 5min at the Jasper-Pulaski NWR. I was using my MKIII and then briefly switched to his 7D. Didn't notice any negative qualities at all. It seemed like a fantastic cam that performed nearly like my MKIII. I suppose there are some bad copies out there, but for me to have had no experience with one and then to pick this one up and get excellent results immediately tells me that the one I tried was a fine piece of hardware.
