Desciption: Fort Pitt Bridge, Pittsburgh PA. Pittsburgh is famous for steel and I thought it will be nice to take a nice old school US steel bridge. The underside of the bridge is something that most people do not really see very often. The converging lines points to the city across the river. I like the gloomy look as the weather in pittsburgh is usually gloomy anyway (but it nice out these few days)

Thanks, this is my first time out with my 1D mkII. My 17-40L is totally different now. Trying to get used to the wider perspective. Anyway I have a couple of other shots but i really felt this one is very relevant to this week's assignment
Great concept, but i would have liked a closer-up shot, using the 2 pillars as framing to lead our eyes into the city in the distance. The receeding bridge has already done a good job, just need a 'cleaner' image. Too much distracting skies and stuff on both sides for this to be a winner. Perhaps more contrast for that added pop? I would have taken out the railroads too at the bottom of the frame.
