SJKK, Thank you and Thank you

Lylejk, I thought this was a beautiful sight in color but couldn't fathom the beauty in IR. Simply amazing what we are blessed with.

Thank you for the kind words

Chris, what camera and IR filter did you use for this image? Any other workflow details would be greatly appreciated. Really want to get into IR.

This is a really cool shot in many ways, I'm not very hot about the blown clouds and wish the little flowers in the front left of the river were not there. But that's just me. Really a great photograph and I'm also curious about what lens and IR filter you used to accomplish this with the 20D.

Jpreston and realkuhl,
I used the Sony F828 with a Hoya r72 IR filter and an ND4 and an ND8 filter. In my opinion, the Sony F828 is the best IR camera for B&W, but if you want color go with the 717. It has something to do with the four color ccd, if you ask me.
If you click on my previous posts, you will see that I placed a tutorial on IR workflow.
I plan on getting a digital rebel converted to IR from maxmax.com
The reason I want the rebel is because I can get one second hand for about $400 and convert it for another $400 or so. Shooting RAW will be nice
Thanks for your comments!

I found it so you don't have to go searching for it.

I like this Chris! At the same time, I have to agree with John about the blown out highlights - just my 2 cents.
