Hi!

For those of you that might be interested, here's some brand new sample galleries:

All images were shot hand held, and either the 1,4x or 2x tc is attached. If I shot with the 1,4x I would have stopped down to around f/6.3, if shot with the 2x tc the lens was stopped down to around f/10. Iso around 200-400. Camera Canon 1Ds MkII.

I like all of them except it seemed a couple of the eagles were a bit on the dark side.

If anyone that has seen the first sample pictures from the earlier copies of the 400 DO they should forget what they saw and consider your pictures a bench mark of excellences.
These are the best pictures I've ever seen from the 400 DO and hand held to boot!

Thanks to all for your nice comments on my work

And to Greg, I unfortunately do not upload full size images to my site. My stock agency gets those. You'll just have to take my word on the sharpness of these images.

However here's perhaps the sharpest image I've yet to shoot with the 400mm DO, it's not a very exiting image, but it's sharp:

It was shot hand held, iso 320, 2x tc attached, f/10

In the original you can count the scales on it's feet.
