I have waited nearly three months to post this, due mainly to computer failure but also to software issues.
In September this year we were in Corsica for a week. Our second hotel was almost exactly in the middle of the island, in an isolated spot next to a stream.
I found some field crickets, which I have not seen in the UK. I had been photographing a lizard, on aand next to some steps, then I moved on to shoot this cricket, which was alive but almost immobile. There was then a dispute about access rights to the insect!
The lizard eventually gave up and slunk off.
EM-1, Kiron 105mm macro, 1/100, 1/200 & 1/250 at ISO 800, sunlight, and-held. Images cropped for composition.
This trip preceded the camera repair, and the re-setting of capture format, so these were in RAW format.
