I cant balme you too much though. This is the first time that Canon has used that style charger with a DSLR. Though I would think the prongs on the back of the charger would have given you some idea.
Laughin my ass off!...Mike I did the same thing...Had the D60 so I was looking for it too. But then remembered about the new charger. Took about 2 minutes to realize it. Ain't that a hoot?

Don't feel so bad. When I first looked at it from the front I nearly freaked out as it didn't have a cord included. However I also didn't have a EB viewfinder piece included with the kit and was astounded, as was the dealer. So I went back and he gave me a EB viewfinder so all was well. But still someone must have taken a long lunch at the manufacture plant or something. Oh well all's well that ends well..........
if you think that's bad, my first go with the 20D...at a balloon race. I kept saying to myself, man i cant believe i am getting such high shutter speeds even on a cloudy day. of course i thought something great and magical was behind it. well, you know, that was true - the magic was ISO1600 for DAYLIGHT!!!! arg, i am soooooo pissed at myself for not double checking that. and a double dam to canon for not thinking that is an important feature to include in a nonprofessional body for the viewfinder. to me, it's like not having a seatbelt included in a car that costs less than $20k. ok, so not the best analogy, but to me it fits! god am i pissed off!

what a day.. I forgot my compact flash card when I went to shoot for a birthday this evening... bummer..
heh i did that the night before. i did have the random sense to bring a film camera along for night-time balloon glowing event so it wasn't a total loss. nothing like carrying around a $1500 paperweight.
