the contax g 45 looks like it performs as it should, though your adapter looks to be a little off (bottom right corner looks worse than the others).
new 55/1.8 looks pretty awesome too.
also, it looks like you didn't refocus between shots (understandable given the time frame ). the rokkor 58/1.2 shot is much sharper at f/1.2 than at f/2 – pesky focus shift.

Would you check the f1.8 and f2 pictures of the FE 1.8/55 please? (as if the f1.8 upper left corner looks sharper than even the f2.8)
exif info indicates that most of 55/1.8 shots are mislabeled. f/5.6 was actually at f/4, f/8 was actually at f/5.6, etc while f/1.8 was actually f/11 and f/2 was actually f/1.8.

Maybe in another thread Phillip might want to talk about handling etc and especially focussing all these lenses. Curious to know if the manual lens focussing experience is more productive / accurate than in prior Sony cameras.

did you not like manual focus one the previous ones? i've not found any camera i liked better for manual focus than the NEX-7.

Shame about the Biogon! I thought those problems were supposed to be when you got down into the, say, 21's. Guess now I understand more why people fret so much over it.

My time was pretty limited but the camera felt like a Nex. Manual focusing works really well with the Nex-6 and was the same with the A7r, Viewfinder and Display seemed a little better.
I wasn't able to make use of all the controls in the short time but they felt good and I am sure they will be great for actual usage.

Thanks Phillip! The G45 and FD 35 look good across the frame starting at f/5.6. Glad to see this. Is your 35mm FD the nFD model?
no, it is the older FD
