I can't believe another year has gone by, and it's almost 2012. This year is no different than last, and I really wish I could have shot more. In no particular order, here are some of my favorites from this year. C&C welcome : )
My younger daughter doesn't let me kiss her anymore. Says my mustache bothers her. She asks if I shedded my mustache before allowing me to kiss her : (
When push comes to shove. The girls are always fighting. Starting to get physical with the pushing and shoving. Eventually they apologize and all is well again.
This next series is particularly sad for me. After 6 years of ballet, my older daughter has thrown in the towel and quit. Wanted to try something else. We are always encouraging them to try new things, and this was one of the times I wish she would have stuck with it.
We tried signing up Kayla for soccer this year. Got her enrolled and first class, she was all pumped up and excited. When the day comes for her to participate, she chickens out.
Sometimes I don’t really have a reason to shoot, but I just want to capture the kids at this stage in their lives. We have some nice rolling hills a few minutes away and I often take the kiddos there.

Your use of light is excellent. There's a few that have a bit of "obvious" photoshop (potatoes, pumpkins), but otherwise I like them. Do you use strobes or flashguns?

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen your work before. There are no words for these...amazing, creative, full of life, beautiful, inspiring...I'm bookmarking your share for inspiration! Amazing!! Your girls are going to LOVE looking back on these and sharing them with their own children one day. What a gift you are giving them!
BTW, I shared your personal blog on my Facebook biz page. I am truly inspired! Do you have a Facebook page?

Jason -- and Lisa -- you two are my favorite photographers.
Joel, love your playfulness, inventive use of Photoshop, your beautiful family (who obviously love to work with you). I've down-graded myself another notch. :-)
Lisa, it's all been said. But I'm sure we'll say it again.
