Someone remind me in a couple of months to get all offended that pretty much nothing is open on Christmas.

It\'s so disrespectful of stores not to let us heathens go shopping on Christmas if we want to!

Christmas is a Sunday Even then. One day is different than 5 days. I even get frustrated when things are closed on protestant holidays and I grew up in the church!

Oh and BTW. This has nothing to do with religion. I could care less about the reason, I just know that as a business person, closing a major company with thousands of clients can\'t be good for business. Obviously there are a lot of opinions on this since it has had MASSIVE response here on the boards.

during the summer months there are US companies that close manufacturing for retooling for generally 1-2 weeks. planned for event

in asia you have golden weeks (big holiday). lots of closed doors. many airlines cancel flights for days when these occur (do you know how much it costs to keep a 777 on the ground not making revenue?) oh yeah thats cargo not moving for days out of asia. hint hint where are most cameras made? within reason a planned for event

christmas is on a sunday this year and B&H will be open on that day. when its on a friday they will close early and again when on a saturday it will be closed. planned for event

really you don\'t know as much as you think you do about how business is done

i know these are none of your concerns because you think they have no immediate direct affect on you. but they might/can/and do.

you need to think outside your rather small box

now at 7:30pm EDT today this whole discussion will be moot till the next series of holidays show up and the next \"special person\" throws the first stone about it.
