Re: Steve Jobs Has Passed Away (1955-2011)

sad news

one of the greatest business leadership geniuses ever

he certainly left quite a mark, had the revolutionary foresight to try to bring the personal computer into the home for the first time to great success (although let us not forget tech geniuses such as Jay Miner of Atari/CBM who then quickly moved the world of computing into new realms of technologically advanced hardware, the likes of which are now, finally standard in everyone\'s home computer, or others such as RJ Mical, to just name one, who helped bring us arguably the best OS ever (and fully pre-emptive multi-tasking back in 1985!), sadly few know any of these names, but they were pure engineers and they worked for businessmen of poor vision, but true technical geniuses who perhaps one day will get their due recognition, much of what we know take for granted at one time only appeared in their pioneering works and designs which were years ahead, it is a shame that so many histories of the home computer are written by journalists who know little of it beyond the marketing releases of the few), had strong influences at Pixar and then brought us into the whole iWorld which brought Apple back from the brink and single handedly over turned entire gigantic industries and turned Apple into one of the strongest companies in the world with an elegant product line. He has certainly left a huge mark.

far too young
