The pictures taken by this lens are very sharp with wonderful colors. I heard the secret is that Canon put a UD glass on this lens, which they usually do on L lenses. The lens has a price less than half of EF 70-200 F4.0 L USM, but produces similar quality pictures (90+%). There are several tiny dusts in the element, which doesn\'t impact the IQ at all. The lens body is in excellent condition.
