Re: Zeiss Lens Photos and Discussion (see also ZE/ZF/ZM thread)
First of all thank you very much for your kind words. And sorry for boring you with private stories, it won\'t happen again. But St. Annen is one of the rare touching places for me and spending last afternoon there at the graveyard brought it all up, seeing all these names. Some of my personal memories are buried underneath these gravestones and I\'ve been extremely agitated by upcoming memories all night. To bring it to a good end and make memories sleep again: I love my father deeply and what is even more, I respect him and his gang as much as I could. And I\'m not sure, if I would have the courage to do what they did at their time! So for now: R.I.P.!
I always found the 21 too close to the 25er, Carsten. And as it\'s a financial question as well, I had to make decisions. Of course I would love to have the 21 as well for it\'s shear quality. Let\'s see, possibly one day!
@ Bifurcator: Bridges & willows. Two of my all-time favs! Lovely done.
Your work with the 1.4/35 is always impressing, Phillipe. That\'s a change I might seriously consider as for it\'s specific character. This lens is really stunning and I would love to add it to my collection (possibly even keeping the 2.0 as well).

And now for something completely different, as John Cleese would have it: the 18 and the 25 being the black sheep of the Royal Family as Edward said, I love them even more. I will have to see and compare the new 2.0/25 to dicide, if I want a change. I find the 2.8/25 extremely nice and sharp, I love the rendering it does and under normal circumstances I wouldn\'t even think about a change. But my personal contacs with Zeiss make it attractvie of course to at least give it a try and compare the two.
