I would like to once again have a C/Y Distagon 35/1.4 in my shelf. The Distagon is one of those lenses which never let me down. I\'m not sure it\'s the right lens for a Nex though.
Here is a casual snap of my better half, deep thoughts, sitting on the balcony:
taken with a plain Nex-5 and the DV35/1.2 at either f/1.4 or f/1.7, I\'m not sure. Let\'s say 1.7. For me that is good enough and I\'m not sure the Distagon 35/1.4 would do better.
I know the Distagon will be bigger and heavier (700g with a hood and an adapter) and the CV35/1.2 won\'t cost much more.
Then, of course, when we have a FF LIVE camera here I will probably wish my CV3512 had been that Distagon but that\'s sometime in the un-known future.
