FS: /FT: Reduced 9/26: RadioPopper JrX Transmitter, Nikon AS-E900

I\'m a Canon shooter, and while I\'ve been using Nikon speedlites with RadioPopper JrX remotes for over a year now, I\'ve decided to switch to Canon flashes. As a result, I\'m selling my Nikon flashes, RadioPoppers, and modified Nikon hot shoes.

The AS-E900 hot shoes are modified to add 3.5mm TRS connectors (standard headphone cables), which allows remote power control from the RadioPoppers. Some have two jacks, some have one, and one has rather large connectors protruding from the sides (this was my first attempt). All of these are epoxied inside, which secures the solder joints, but prevents any further modification.

All prices are net to me, shipped USPS priority flat-rate to the lower 48, except as noted.

  1. (1) RadioPopper JrX transmitter: $60 $50 $45 $40
  2. (10) Nikon AS-E900 hot shoes, modified to use standard 3.5mm TRS connectors. $10 $8 each. Due to the cost of shipping, you\'ll need to buy at least 3 of these, or buy them with the transmitter.. Alternatively, you can buy just one or two, and pay your own shipping.

Pictures of everything can be viewed here. If you want a detail shot of anything in particular, let me know and I can provide it within a day or so.

Full disclosure on the JrX transmitter: occasionally, it will stop transmitting. Removing the battery for a second or two and putting it back in has always fixed it. It only seems to happen when it\'s been sitting unused for a few weeks - never in the middle of a session (though of course I can\'t guarantee that). Additionally, one of the two screws that holds the metal plate on the bottom came out at some point, and got lost. I replaced it with a similar screw from the local hardware store, and haven\'t had any issues. Note that the \"not transmitting\" issue predates the screw falling out. Additionally, one of the power dials on the transmitter comes off more easily than it should. A drop of super glue would fix it easily.

I\'d prefer to sell the remainder all at once, if possible. If you want to take the transmitter and hot shoes, I\'ll sell the whole lot for $60. Payment by PayPal preferred.

This is my final price drop. If they don\'t sell at these prices, I\'ll just keep them.

PM is preferred for communication.

Thanks for looking!

I have had no issues with any of the other items. However, the flashes in particular are getting along in years, and have the usual scuffs and scratches one expects to accumulate with age. In general, I would describe them as \"good condition\" given their age, but as you can see in the pictures, one of the SB-28s does have a pretty good scratch on the bottom, below the lens. This scratch predates my ownership of the flash, and isn\'t an issue functionally.

I\'d prefer to sell the remainder all at once, if possible. If you want to take the whole lot, I\'ll sell it for $200, or $100 for both flashes. Payment by PayPal preferred.

  1. (2) Nikon SB-28s: $90 $80 each.
  2. (1) Nikon SB-28DX: $90 $80
  3. (4) RadioPopper JrX Studio receivers: $80 $70 each. SOLD.
  4. (1) RadioPopper JrX transmitter: $60 $50
  5. (10) Nikon AS-E900 hot shoes, modified to use standard 3.5mm TRS connectors. $10 $8 each. Due to the cost of shipping, you\'ll need to buy at least 3 of these, or add them to one of the larger items.

If you want to take the whole lot ( $370 total), I\'ll sell it all for $320 $280. Alternatively, I\'ll sell all three Nikon flashes for $210. Payment by PayPal preferred.

Alternatively, I\'m looking for Canon 430EX II or 580EX II flashes. I\'d be interested in an even trade for Canon flashes, or a partial trade if you only have one. These Canon flashes are the only ones I\'m interested in trading for. Payment by PayPal preferred.
