Up for sale is my beloved Canon 300 f2.8 USM lens. I\'ve recently acquired some equipment among it 2 x 300 f2.8 IS lenses and it is time for my old 300 lens to go. The lens is in perfect working condition and the focus is track sharp. The mount and casing show a good amount of scratches and scuffs, and there are some dust particles on the inner elements but they don�t effect the image quality. The glass is free of scratches and fungus. The slide in UV filter (see picture) has some scratches but I haven\'t noticed any effect on the picture quality.
3 years ago the lens was sent to Canon in New Jersey and the lens mount, contacts, USM motor and the glass on the distance scale were replaced and I\'ve never had any problems with the lens ever since.
