I suppose one could argue you could take less glass--well you have to, with the M9, because your cropping power PP is so much more.
My backcountry kit is:
16, CV 21 and either the 28 or 35 (all skopars), Leica 50/2, tele-elmarit 90 and a Canon LTM 135.
The Canon is new to me, a very late (@1969) f/3.5 just in from keh \"EX\" for 56USD. almost 100 grams lighter than a elmar tapered version, and it seems excellent really.
