I bought this from a fellow FM\'er, and love it. A very well-cared for lens. However, I\'m moving the telephoto part of my gear to Sony for economic reasons, and keeping my wide primes on my Nikon. So I need to sell or trade this beauty.
If you\'re interested and have Sony telephoto lenses (70-200, 80-200, 70-300 F/4-5.6) for trade, we may be able to work that in a deal.
Basics- cosmetically perfect. I was told it was in great condition and it turns out after inspection that it was a pristine lens, with no cosmetic flaws. And, I babied it for the time I had it as well.
Comes with the travel padded Case with shoulder strap, soft front cap, rear cap, and original Nikon hood.
Small disclosure: when Keoni shined a flashlight into the lens, he found a little dried condensation, which is easily cleaned and doesn\'t affect image quality or AF. I tried my hardest and couldn\'t find it when I got it, but I\'m disclosing it because a very good FM\'er saw it and I believe him. Nikon quoted me $300 if you ever want to clean it, but I tested it thoroughly and didn\'t see the need. Also, we had it checked, and it is not fungus or mold, or anything that would reoccur.
I\'m offering the following assurances:
1. If the lens appraises for less than the sale price, I\'ll refund the difference (Keoni and I paid for an appraisal, and it appraised for more than what I\'m selling for). I\'m telling you- I play things safe. I can include a copy of the appraisal if you like.
2. If you test it out and there\'s anything wrong with the lens, I\'ll take the lens back after a 3 day inspection, as long as you pay shipping and insurance and pack it well.
