a) This is not High Speed Sync but rather, Hypersync. The Einstein doesn\'t pulse like an HSS speedlight, Hypersync merely optimizes sync timing.
b) The default HSS to Hypersync crossover for the 5D Mark II in the PW Utility is 1/320. This can be adjusted by the user to achieve that maximum sync capability based on the particular camera/flash pairing.
c) It appears the posters above have not adjusted the Hypersync timings or HSS to Hypersync crossover, so there is no evidence here that the 5DmII/ControlTL/Einstein will not sync above 1/320.
d) Haven\'t done it myself, but at least in theory I believe PW ControlTL should allow sync at least as high as the HSS hack, and potentially faster with tweaking.
