Re: C/Y Zeiss Image Post

First time poster on this forum, though I\'ve been going through the Alt lens section for the last 3 months, educating myself should I say?

Where should I start? This forum has been more than a revelation for me. I stumbled upon this forum (Alt lens to be precise) when I was searching the net on guides/tips to improve my photography in general, since I was going through \"Boring Photo Angst\" as someone in this forum itself has rightly coined. Since then it has been a detailed course into Alt glass, Lloyd\'s guides, getting the basics right, Zeiss lenses, studying MTFs, then C/Y lenses (heartache that most dont work on nikon) , adapters, and all this while going through pages and pages and more pages of people\'s awesome photos here.

I must admit that the effect of the photos using the C/Y mount lenses were really strong and there was an immediate connect. After having gone through so many photos, there was no turning back. Generated funds by selling off unused Nikon gear (still in process) and got a used 5DMkII and a C/Y 50mm 1.7 and C/Y 35 1.4 (I liked this one more than the newer one, just due to the feel of the lens)

The quality of work here is simply outstanding. Thanks to everyone for sharing the info/tips/guides etc.

Here are some with the C/Y 50mm 1.7
