I mean taking portraits, which are not only cute and lovely, but which tell a story about their character and what they might be in times to come. I mean portraits of children are about making visible dispositions of unformed, just rudimental tempers, talents and character traits. Making visible these first signs of personality of a human, which you might recognize, if you meet him / her again 50 years later.
